Mambo Lodge
Mombo Camp: the most renowned camp in Africa!

Mombo Camp in Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

Mombo means "place of plenty" in the local language. It truly is a place of plenty with an awesome concentration of game and a wide variety of herbivores and predators.

The camp is one of the best in Botswana. It has 9 luxury tents each with its private outside deck and sala. All the tents are raised above the ground and offer incredible views of the floodplains. During the peak game season, you can see the game in the floodplains from the luxury of your private deck.

The main area is exquisite and food is gourmet. A real treat for your senses!

Tafika Camp
Tafika Camp: one of the best owner-run camps in Africa!

Tafika Camp in the Luangwa Valley, Zambia

Tafika is home to John and Carol Coppinger, the founders of Remote Africa Safaris. It is a small camp with 6 chalets. The chalets are made to a high standard of locally available reed and thatch. The chalets are high quality but simple to ensure that the camp and its ambience merge with the African bush.

The owners live in the camp and run it with all their enthusiasm and warmth. This personal yet highly professional approach makes a stay at Tafika a memorable experience. The meals are most often al fresco and superb.

The game is excellent and in the peak game season you will see great concentration of game and lots of leopards. An unpretentious camp with one of the best guiding in Zambia. The highlight of Tafika is an opportunity for a micro-light flight to view game from the air with John Coppinger.

Londolozoi
Londolozi: safari chic in the Sabi Sands Private Reserve

Londolozi Camp in the Sabi Sand Reserve, South Africa

Londolozi means "the protector of all living things" in the local language. In its true sense, when the owners converted their property from a hunting reserve to a protected reserve, there was a dramatic change in the concentration of game. It was as if the game sensed this change and instinctively felt they would be protected and moved in to the area in huge numbers. This was especially true for the elusive leopard and the mother leopard who first entered the area changed Londolozi forever.

Londolozi is now world renowned for "the leopards of Londolozi" where you can get one of the best viewing of leopards in the world anytime you go.

It is one of the most luxurious camps in Africa and is owner run. This makes it very personal and yet they ensure that it is very professionally run. The rooms are luxurious with their own private deck and plunge pool. Meals are on open decks or in the boma around a fireplace at night.

Londolozi is located on the Sand river in a most beautiful and secluded setting where the atmosphere is exclusive but personal, with a mixture of understated sophistication and sheer luxury.

The above are only some of the camps where you will live the "ultimate safari experience".

Mwagusi
Mwagusi Camp: quirky and unpretentious with great game viewing from your verandah!

Mwagusi Camp in the Ruaha National Park, Tanzania

Mwagusi Camp is located on the Mwagusi Sand River. It has the prime location for game viewing in the entire Ruaha Park. The camp is renowned for its intense game drives, formidable game viewing and is run by its legendry owner Chris Fox who has visited this park since childhood.

The "bandas" or tents are elegantly designed with beautiful verandahs overlooking the Mwagusi Sand River. The décor is quirky and rustic. Dinners are served alfresco in beautiful locations with lanterns lighting up the dining area.

A wonderful camp!

Porini Camp
Porini Lion Camp: smart eco friendly camp in the heart of the Masai Mara ecosystem

Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Orok Conservancy of the Masai Mara, Kenya

Porini means the wild. The smart eco friendly tents are in the wild on the banks of the Ntiakitiak River.

The décor is simple, food gourmet, service impeccable and the hospitality infectious.

Safari at Porini Lion is spectacular with excellent game viewing and top quality guiding by Porini guides.

This is a gem of a camp in the Olare Orok Conservancy, one of the best conservancies of the Masai Mara.

Al fresco lunch at Namiri Plains!

Namiri Plains Camp in the Soit Le Motonyi area of Eastern Serengeti.

Namiri Plains Camp is one of the “hottest” camps in East Africa currently! The big cat viewing is simply outstanding, especially for lion and cheetah.

Namiri Plains Camp is located in the Soit Le Motonyi area of the Eastern Serengeti which was closed to tourists for 20 years for cheetah conservation. Now only one camp, Namiri Plains, is located there to view the area’s amazing cheetah population! The kopjes of Gol, Sametu and Barafu are home to some of the largest lion prides in East Africa.

It is a classic luxury bush camp from the renowned Asilia Africa collection of camps. Excellent cuisine, al fresco lunches and drinks around a campfire!

Namiri Plains is a fabulous camp!
