Zimbabwe is a beautiful country bordered by two rivers: the mighty Zambezi to the north & the Limpopo to the south.

Zimbabwe
Smelling you out as you drift pass in your canoe on the Zambezi river

In between the two rivers is an inland plateau filled with kopjes, lovely game parks, rugged mountains and lush forests. This inland plateau is the rich and fertile country of Zimbabwe.

Mana Pools

This game park is situated on the southern banks of the Zambezi river and it has a formidable reputation and legendary status in the safari circuit representing the best of African safari. Its canoe safari is probably the best in Africa and beats the canoe safari of Botswana. You are taken by canoe along the banks of the Zambezi close up to elephant, hippo, lion and crocodile! It is a thrilling adventure.

Hwange

This is a vast game park of 15,000 sq kms. Unfortunately, there is very little water here and the game is sustained through the dry season by several man made pumped waterholes. Game viewing is intense with regular sightings of lion, leopard and elephant. There is a very good chance to sight the rare roan and sable antelopes.

You can end your safari in Zimbabwe with a visit to the Victoria Falls. The view of the majestic Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side is the better than the view from the Zambian side. In colonial times, the Britishers created the town of Victoria falls on the Zimbabwean side to get the best view of the Falls.
